Färgfabrikens podcast

For three decades, Färgfabriken has been a place where art, architecture and conversation have been allowed to grow freely – a place where social issues meet and where new ideas are given shape. In 2025, we will celebrate our 30th anniversary by launching our own podcast “Färgfabriken’s podcast”.

The podcast is aimed at both loyal visitors and new curious listeners – and offers a deeper insight into the thoughts behind the exhibitions, projects and people who put Färgfabriken on the art map.

Enjoy!

Beckers Art Award was established in 1987 by Ulf and Viviann Lindén and has, over the years, demonstrated a remarkable ability to anticipate and highlight artists who go on to gain wide recognition. Since 2001, the exhibitions have been produced in collaboration with and presented at Färgfabriken.

In this episode, we meet two former recipients, Petra Hultman and Christian Partos, who share their experiences and reflect on what the award has meant to them.

Episode 5: Mattias Höjer and Jens Evaldsson talks about matchmaking between art and science

Listen to the fifth episode here!

Since its founding in 1995, Färgfabriken has served as a meeting place where people from different parts of society come together. Often this happens through exhibitions, but also by acting as a mediator – a bridge between art and science.

The work with the Symbiosis platform is one such example. Färgfabriken brought together artists and scientists to explore pressing challenges. KTH professor Mattias Höjer and Jens Evaldsson were among those who formed a team within the project.

The podcast is produced by A Head of the Curve Production and recorded at Beppo Ljudproduktion.
