Färgfabriken Architecture Triennial launches new collaborations
In the fall of 2024, Färgfabriken opened its first Architecture Triennial, a recurring platform that will highlight the role of architecture in society, its methods and artistic expression, through dialogue, collaborations and exhibitions. The aim of the triennial is to create a forum that invites experts, industry players and the general public to be inspired and think together about our common future and the transformation we need to make to meet both local and global challenges.
The Architecture Triennial 2024 offered a large group exhibition, several Open Studios and a rich program of conversations, workshops and performances. Further on Färgfabriken wants to deepen and broaden the triennial through new questions, exhibitions, projects and exciting collaborations, not least with our Nordic and Baltic sister organizations.

One of these new collaborations is with the Copenhagen Architecture Forum, CAFx, and their upcoming architecture biennial with the theme “Slow Down” opening in the fall of 2025 in Copenhagen. The Biennale explores architecture’s relationship with time and how we can slow down overheated places, cities and communities. The aim is to promote an architecture characterized by sustainability, reflection and a slowness to better adapt to the social and ecological systems of the planet.
Open Call
CAFx and “Slow Down” are launching an Open Call for architects and designers working in the Nordic countries. Färgfabriken sees this as a fantastic opportunity to strengthen cultural exchange across national borders. Read more on the Copenhagen Architecture Forum website and apply here. The deadline for applications is April 22, 2025.
