Färgfabriken invites to a conversation at Folk och Kultur

Operating as an arts institution in a time of climate change
– the follow-up

Welcome to a roundtable discussion on climate, art, resilience and resistance, which is a follow-up to a conversation on the same theme from last year.

Together with Giorgiana Zachia (Coordinator of the Contemporary Art Mission at the Swedish Arts Council), Maria Hallberg (Director of Eskilstuna Art Museums), Hanna Stahle (artist and operates Konstfrämjande Kraft) and Gustav Person (Curator at Katrineholms art gallery), Färgfabrikan’s director Anna-Karin Wulgué and process manager Daniel Urey will discuss how art institutions can address climate change issues. What curatorial methods and public programs have we developed and how do we work with the daily operations and our buildings?

The program will be given on Thursday 6 February at 13.00-13.45 in Ångmaskinshallen at Eskilstuna City Museum.

Folk och Kultur is an annual platform for inspiration, experiences and learning with a focus on the role of art and culture as an engine and hub in a sustainable and inclusive society. The content is created in collaboration with external organizers, exhibitors and representatives from cultural life, politics, authorities, organizations, the non-profit sector and the country’s 21 regions.
