Nineteen artists in different cultural fields present the artistic outcome of a course for professionals at Konstfack.
Who is ”the other”? The Stranger investigates how Western society projects the concept of ”stranger” on individuals and groups throughout the centuries until today. Nineteen artists, photographers, designers, and writers in different cultural fields present the artistic outcome of a course for professionals at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm during the academic year of 2014–2015. The participants have processed the course – dealing with themes such as the home, the cultural history of the human body, the relationship between beauty and ugliness – into the individual works of art displayed at Färgfabriken.
Course leader: Tom Sandqvist.
