Season opening and garden party

Welcome to the opening of this autumn’s exhibitions and a garden party on Saturday, August 26 from 11.00–18.00!

12.00 Presentation of Färgfabriken’s garden. With cafe manager and garden curator Lisa Stigsdotter Ekstrand.

14.00 Opening of whatever lives bends down, an installation in the Main Hall by nabbteeri. With Färgfabriken´s new director Anna-Karin Wulgué and the artists Janne Nabb and Maria Teeri (nabbteeri).

15.00 Introduction of Moulding Nature – Discursive Struggles Over the Environment, a group exhibition in the project rooms. With Nico Carpentier, professor and curator.

15.30–18.00 Garden party with green drinks and greens on the menu in the cafe.


Welcome to Färgfabriken on Saturday 26 August 11.00–18.00, when we open for the season. Vernissage for the autumn’s large solo exhibition whatever lives bends down with the Finnish artist collective nabbteeri in the Main Hall. In addition, the group exhibition Molding Nature opens in the project rooms. There will also be the inauguration of the urban garden that we established during the summer together with Färgfabriken cafe! Vegetables from our own garden will be on the menu.

Molding Nature – Discursive Struggles Over the Environment
Group exhibition in the project rooms that examines and portrays what shapes our image of nature. Video works, collages, photos and installations by international artists, co-creative groups and researchers.
