In a time when reality is in, and has become a favorite prefix, the seminar Is reality really relevant? asks: what route are the filmmakers and artists going to take in the future? What kind of responsibility does the filmmaker have towards the people who are depicted? How do the filmmakers and artist see their own position in their work? How does the spectator relate to what is depicted? The seminar gathers international filmmakers, artists and scholars for presentations and conversations about artistic practice and the documentary.
