Giraffens ABC – A circus show for children with Kompani Giraff
Giraffens ABC is presented in Färgfabriken´s Top floor. The show is a part of the circus festival CirkusMania.
In Giraffens ABC, the youngest audience is welcomed into an amazing alphabet studio, where two circus artists have been given the daunting task of getting through the 29 letters of the alphabet in just 35 minutes. It’s the starting point for an inventive and acrobatic circus journey, where wild capital letters fall upwards, flapping birds are conjured and where strawberries are juggled to jazz music.
With Giraffens ABC, Kompani Giraff wants to offer a humorous and ingenious circus and magic show that awakes curiosity and creative reading comprehension for children aged four to six.

Giraffens ABC
Kompani Giraff makes performances based on the perspective of young people and the belief in the child’s ability to absorb complex subjects. The artistic directors are Axel Adlercreutz, who has a background as a magician and is a three-time Swedish champion in magic, Viktoria Dalborg, a director with a background as a physical actor and circus performer, and Sus Soddu, a costume designer and scenographer with a background as a fashion designer. Together with a hand-picked ensemble, they create performances with visual elegance, soft magic and whimsical choreography.
CirkusMania is a twelve-day festival that presents circus as contemporary performing arts in a collaboration between 30 stages around the Stockholm region. The festival is coordinated by Subtopia. The festival’s fifth edition takes place 9–20 February 2024 and offers a variety of new performances, both Swedish and international.
