WHO DO YOU THINK THEY ARE?

For a long time there has been talk about crossing the genres, cross-breeding and interdisciplinary constellations. This sounds nice – and probably means that one wants to say that things, occupations and ideas, thoughts and means are not separable, but on the contrary are cross-breeding each other.

We think that the time is right for an exhibition that examines what the situation really looks like. What happens when art, architecture, fashion, media, IT, economy, literature, film, advertising and music is put together, in the same exhibition? How do the active people from each field view themselves, their professional identities and their context? And how do they present themselves – their own self-image – in an exhibition of other self-images? This is why we have made a selection from eleven different categories, among things and creators we, in one way or another, have been in contact with via the various activities of Färgfabriken.
