Welcome to the finissage
Last chance to see the exhibition and hear the artist Johan Carlsson Ström speak in his own words about his process and artistic practice.
The afternoon begins with a guided tour by the artist Johan Carlsson Ström and concludes with a live performance by Klara Goliger, accompanied by Gustav Alte on guitar.
Music has been a constant presence in Johan Carlsson Ström’s studio practice. Klara Goliger’s album Words was among his most played records of the year. The finissage thus becomes a meeting between music and painting, where artistic worlds that have already intersected in the creative process share the same space before a live audience.
About Klara Goliger
Klara Goliger is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Swedish avant-pop, known for her strong artistic expression and her intense, deeply present live performances. With the album Words, recorded at Music-a-Matic Studio in Gothenburg, she moves freely between genres in a singular and uncompromising approach to songwriting.
