Tove Kjellmark – The Horse, the Robot & the Immeasurable presents the practice of artist Tove Kjellmark and her extensive artistic research project currently exhibited at Färgfabriken. During the book release there will be a conversation between two of the book´s authors Sinziana Ravini, Elin Hernlund and the editor Jonatan Habib Engqvist
About the participants
Jonatan Habib Engqvist is a curator and author. Over the past two decades he has curated international biennales and festivals, experimental projects, exhibitions, and residency programmes. His texts have been published in several languages around the world. He is also co-editor of the journal Ord&Bild together with Ann Ighe.
Elin Hernlund is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, PhD, and Associate Senior Lecturer at the department of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala. In collaboration with KTH and the Max Planck Institute in Tübingen she is currently developing computer vision techniques for use with horses and cows.
Sinziana Ravini is an art critic and psychoanalyst. She is editor in chief of Paletten Art Journal together with Fredrik Svensk. She writes for Aftonbladet, Göteborgs-Posten, Kunstkritikk, and has contributed to magazines such as Artforum, Afterall, Artpress, Frog, Glänta and SITE.
