Erdiola Kanda Mustafaj will take part in an artist talk about her work and the exhibition Un volto non comune, which opens on 24 March at the Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm. The conversation will revolve around the exhibition’s main themes: exile, displacement, and memories.
The talk will be moderated by Daniel Urey, process leader at Färgfabriken.
The Artist talk is a cooperation with Italian Culture Institute Stockholm.

About Erdiola Kanda Mustafaj

Italian-Albanian visual artist working with images, video, writing, and sound. Her work explores Albania’s complex history and spiritual heritage, focusing on the relationship between places, transformation, and human presence. She has exhibited at, among others, Arthouse and the Marubi National Museum of Photography (Albania), and recently took part in a residency at Photoxenia (Greece). In 2024 she was a finalist for the Ardhje Contemporary Art Prize, and in 2025 she had a solo exhibition at Kunst-im-Kreuzgang (Germany). Read more about the artist here.
