Meet Stockholm’s grass roots initiatives and find your heart's topic!

The planning, building and development of Stockholm is not just an issue for municipality planners, construction companies and architects. Around the region there are plenty of grass-roots initiatives which are dedicated to everything between urban farming and tramways, such as different non profit organizations and neighbourhood associations, dealing with questions ranging from the local to the global.

During one day, Experiment Stockholm wants to gather these forces under one roof!

There are few subjects that arouse such strong commitment to a mass of people as urban development, infrastructure and city construction. On the 4th of October, we invite all of you who are passionate about Stockholm and urbanism. Either you are committed to a particular matter, represent an organisation, or you want to know more about all the initiatives underway. Do you want to get involved but do not really know in which end to start? If that is the case, our “flea market for ideas” is a perfect way to spend a Sunday.

You can also take the opportunity to visit Färgfabriken’s café’s ”regular” flea market, which will be extended with an autumn market with local food and beverages, and much more.

 


 

For participants:


Would you or your organization like to be represented at the “Flea market for ideas”? It’s a chance for you to increase the awareness and commitment to your specific topic of interest, but also to meet other organizations and exchange ideas.

  • Participation is free of charge, but has to be booked.
  • Your organization will receive a table measuring 180x80 cm, and chairs for those attending.
  • You are in charge over, and provide, your own information material, such as brochures or banners. It’s great if the visitors/participants can clearly see your organization’s name and what you stand for, your main issue, but other than that you get to design your the way you like.
