Färgfabriken’s youth council is for you between 15 and 21 years of age who are looking for a creative context, is interested in how Färgfabriken works and want to be involved and have an influence.

Do you want to learn more about how an art center operates and also be able to influence Färgfabriken´s program? Are you interested in art, culture, architecture and/or climate issues? Welcome to participate in Färgfabriken’s youth council! Färgfabriken works with art, architecture and social issues through various activities such as exhibitions, workshops and talks. In our youth council meetings, we talk and work our way through creative methods in art, architecture and the environment.
Program spring 2025
We will immerse ourselves in Färgfabriken’s exhibitions and projects. Through a special support for young people’s own creativity from the city of Stockholm, we have a good opportunity to support initiatives and ideas for creative projects emerging from the participants during the youth council meetings.

For whom?
Färgfabriken´s youth council gathers young people between 15 and 21 years old who are curious about participating in a creative process and learning more about how a centre for art and architecture works. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge or bring your own equipment.
What happens?
We meet at Färgfabriken and participate in joint discussions and exercises, and you are welcome to participate once or on all occasions. You decide! For each meeting, you will receive a financial compensation.
Interested in participating?
To participate, we want you to register in advance for each meeting. You can join us on one or several occasions.

Background
Färgfabriken has formed a youth council in order to engage in a constant learning process and to create more opportunities for youung people to be agents in Stockholm’s culture life. The youth council takes an active part in Färgfabriken’s program and ensures that the perspectives of young people are considered in the art center´s work.
