Environmental Communication Day 2023 – In cooperation with SLU
26 September 2023
What role can art play in the transition to a more sustainable world? On September 26, Färgfabriken hosts the Environmental Communication Day, a recurring event organized by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). The day is aimed at those who work with or have an interest in communication for sustainability. This year’s theme is goal conflicts and synergies in the transition to sustainability, and on September 26 the event has extra focus on the role of art in the transition to society.
During the day, you as a participant can exchange experiences and take part in the latest insights from research on meaning-making and communication for a more sustainable world. Join a sustainability walk or see the exhibition Molding Nature – Discursive Struggles Over the Environment which communicates through art the different viewpoints that compete for the interpretation of nature and our surrounding world. Discuss circular economy or learn more about carbon credits. The day is free of charge and includes a vegetarian lunch and coffee. To reduce food waste, we would like you to let us know if you are prevented from attending. See the program and register at: slu.se/mkdagen2023/stockholm . The day is also organized in Gothenburg on 28 September and in Luleå on 3 October. You can find all information and programs at: slu.se/mkdagen2023.
