Super Meal. Exploration and experimentation with the aquatic fern azolla.

Färgfabriken has invited Erik Sjödin to work with his Super Meal-project at Färgfabriken during the summer.

The aquatic fern azolla is one of the worlds fastest growing plants and a rich source of nutrients, yet it is virtually unexplored as food. In Super Meal Erik experiments with azolla cooking and cultivation together with farmers, chefs and scientists and tries to get some insight into how we produce our food today and could be producing it in the future.

During the summer Erik will be growing azolla on Färgfabrikens backyard and experimenting with azolla-cooking together with the café at Färgfabriken.
